The City Council has made changes to the solid waste pickup for residents. Republic will be picking up your trash once a week only beginning Thursday January the 4th 2024. Trash pick ups will be once a week every Thursday from then on. This will reduce cost to our citizens, and also help reduce with the wear and tear to our City streets.
- Brush and bulky pickup will be once a quarter (12 cu yards max)
- Rate reduction to residents will be between $6-$8
- Additional totters will be $12.
- Current rate’s are $32.85 (one totter) $44.48 (two totters)
- New rate’s $25.45 (one totter) and $37.45 (two totters)
